If I were a nightingale, you‘d be my song
If I were a rose, you’d be my thorn
If I were a tree you‘d be my stem
If I were an angel, you’d be my heaven
If I were wine, you’d be the cheese
If I were air, you’d be the breeze
If I were a lotus, you‘d be the moonlight
If I were your touch, you would be my sight
If I were a bee, you’d be my nectar
If I were a bride, you’d be my altar
If I were an eye, you’d be my twinkle
If I were a diamond, you ‘d be my sparkle
If I were peace, you’d be my temple
If I were a smile, you’d be my dimple
If I were a ray, you’d be the sun
If I were a desert, you’d be my rain
If I were a bird, you’d be my sky
If I were a tear , you’d be my joy
All this and much more I could say
If life were a moment, you’d be my day.
